Wildlife bowls

Sgraffito test bowls developed from my British wildlife illustrations. I’ve been working on getting this glaze right to bring the design out best, putting in a wash and wipe back of lead glaze to ‘burn’ the red iron through the terrasigilata, followed by a transparent glaze to seal. The last slide - with a lemon - is in order to test the glaze for food safety, left overnight and checking for any discolouration from the lemon's acidity.
